Remember Your Leaders
When I hit publish last night, I expected silence.
Starting something new is always a mix of faith and fear.
But I woke up to a notification instead, and this message from my first pledged subscriber:
“Hebrews 13:7”
That’s it.
Scripture. Support. Nothing more, nothing less.
I had to look it up.
“Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.”
Something about that felt intentional. Like God nodding through a stranger’s keyboard, to encourage and teach me that It’s about outcome.
About faith that holds.
Leadership before recognition.
Faith before applause.
It’s not about building a platform.
It’s about living a life that points somewhere true, over time, whether anyone notices or not.
About standing on the shoulders of those who spoke truth before you, and stepping into the role of speaking it forward..even when your voice shakes.
That’s the inheritance.
The writer’s saying..look back at those who walked the road first.
Not because they were perfect.
But because their faith endured.
That’s what gets imitated.
Not the polish. Not the reach. The faith.
So thank you, my very first subscriber, for reminding me of that before I could forget.
Reminding me that faithfulness leaves echoes. That words matter. That legacy is built quietly, one obedient step at a time.
It’s easy to overlook small beginnings. To think nothing counts until the numbers climb or influence grows.
But God doesn’t measure that way.
“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.”— Zechariah 4:10
More than sharing words.
It’s about living and growing through experiences in a way that points back to Him.
About trusting that God never wastes beginnings, Or the people who show up to them.
so, Thank you friend
Thank you for believing in this before it became something.
For trusting God with what isn’t finished yet.
And for believing in me. 🌱
Onward.
